THE PIT Certification Seminar will be held Aug. 20th-22nd.
What to Expect
For those of you wondering what to expect from THE PIT Certification Seminar, here is a brief overview. We designed these three days to teach each student the fundamentals of THE PIT curriculum and system. To best teach our philosophy, we divided each day into technique training, hard core PIT workouts, and school systemizing methods. We will begin each day at 10am, and end when The Pitmaster decides it’s time. We review a lot of information within these three days, so prepare to dedicate most of your day to learning and training.
You will be taught by some of the best. Trainers that you can expect to be part of the seminar are John Hackleman (The Pit owner), Chuck Liddell, Antonio Banuelos, and more…
What to Bring
You will need training clothes and, if desired, sparring gear (sparring is not mandatory). Along with your training clothes you will need wraps and gloves to go over techniques and for evening workouts. Here at THE PIT we encourage hands on learning, but our optimal goal is to teach you how to instruct others; therefore, you may participate in all workouts or watch and observe.
Flight and Hotel Information
If you are flying from out of state, arrive at the San Luis Obispo Airport (SBP) at least one day before the seminar begins. San Luis Obispo is relatively 20 minutes away from Arroyo Grande. If you do not bring your own vehicle, one can be rented at the airport. Book your stay at any hotel in Arroyo Grande. All of our training locations are located in Arroyo Grande.
If you are interested in participating in THE PIT Seminar, please contact Heather at 805.473-2500 or heather@thepit.tv to reserve a spot, they are filling up quickly.
The Pit HQ is located at 1106 E Grande Ave Ste C, Arroyo Grande.
Thanks,
Heather Georgii

Heather what are the chances that the PIT will teach Kickboxing CrossPit seminars..or does a person have to be fully trained in all the Pits schooling and curriculum to get certified in the Cross-Pit or Pit kickboxing classes…? I am basically looking at this from a Fitness instructor angle..not MMA classes..Thanks Ms Heather..:)
