This was a very stratigic fight between two great young fighters… MMA at it’s best

Local fan favorite Casey Olsen met WEC champion Urijah Faber’s stablemate Tito Jones in a lightweight contest. Jones came out fast and former Fresno State wrestler Olsen scrambled to get his timing down for a takedown. Jones kept Olsen off balance with sidekicks and was even able to get Olsen down to the mat, but was not able to really capitalize on it. Olsen took a few good shots from Jones as he was looking for the takedown. Olsen was finally able to score the takedown towards the end of round two but didn’t net much damage. Grounding Jones again in the third round, Olsen earned a unanimous decision with score of 29-28, much to the delight of his trainers Chuck Liddell and John Hackleman…. story and picture by Jeff Serwood

Great job in sticking to the game-plan, toughing out some great strikes, and “imposing your will” on an opponent who was very good. The Pit is very proud of you.

Casey Olson, fellow PIT Monster, will be fighting tomorrow for the Palace Fighting Championship (PFC).  He will meet Tito Jones from Ultimate Fitness in Sacramento in what will be a tough match for both combatants.

I’m sure everyone out there read what is going on with fellow Martial Artist Rampage Jackson.  It is obvious that he is going through some hard times and here at THE PIT we all hope he can get through these hard times quickly and get back on track.  He is one of the best, and toughest Martial Artists in the world, and I am sure he will beat the count and be back where he belongs soon… Kicking butt.

The PIT Master spent the weekend in Orlando, Florida at the MAIA Supershow.  After giving a great seminar title “Step into THE PIT,”  the PIT Master enjoy meeting the celebs and playing a little Wii.
