THE PIT had a great year

Happy New Years It was a GREAT year for THE PIT! After a phenomenal winning streak, Chuck had two tough losses, but tapped into his inner Bushido and came back to beat one of the greatest fighters of all times… Wanderlei Silva, to close out 2008. THE PIT started affiliating with other great Martial Arts schools and creating a family (Ohana) that will take over the Martial Arts world. THE PIT has branched into four States and from its 500 square foot backyard gym in 1985 (with 15 students), we now have nine gyms and well over2500 students. THE PIT has one of the best, most winning and recognized fight teams in the World. The great success THE PIT has attained this year is due to the efforts, contributions, dedication and friendship of so many great friends. I am so lucky and thankful to these people in my life. I am a firm believer that everyone needs help, and that no one can make it alone. Sorry to get wordy but here are some of my “thank you’s” to people who have made a huge contribution to THE PIT’s success in 2007…

Chuck Liddell you have represented THE PIT and exemplified all that THE PIT stands for. You are a brave, loyal, and dedicated PIT MONSTER. You have showed the world what THE PIT is, and you have unselfishly put THE PIT “on the map”. But Like THE PIT, no man can make it to the top alone, and The Iceman in no exception. Without these PIT MONSTERS Chuck Liddell would not be where he is today. These guys sacrifice hours of their time and have helped mold Chuck into the global superstar he is. These guys sweat & bleed for Chuck and THE PIT… Thank you. Eric Shwartz, Scott Lighty, Glover Teixeira, Ian Parkinson, Luke Riddering, Chuck Scandlan, and our newest addition wrestling superstar Sammie “The Bull” Henson. This next group of giving geniouses have also given unselfishly of their time and expertise to help Chuck get and stay in fighting condition…Thank you. Sean Divine MD, Bill Baird DC, Anthony Robbins, Ross Enamait. And without these people “holding down the fort” The Pit Master and Chuck Liddell could never take the time to train or travel…Thank You. Glover Teixeira, Sam Christy, Rene & James Stuart, Antonio Banuelos, Vato, School Boy, Portuguese Paul, Cruz Gomez THE PIT has the greatest team in the World in and out of the cage… Thank you all!
