Bruce Lee was a true MMA pioneer. He was a true believer in “use what works, and discard the rest”. Though he had a traditional Kung Fu background, he trained in boxing, wrestling, judo, and Jiu Jitsu. His workouts, and techniques in the mid 1970′s strongly resembled the training of any MMA school of today. He was very ahead of his time. His conditioning program looked like a true CrossFit workout. Read Bruce Lee’s book “The Tao of Jeet Kune Do” and it’s like he could see into the future.
